Leanne Beetham

Leanne Beetham, born in 1987 with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita, has used her mouth for daily tasks and creating art since early childhood. Her lifelong passion for animals naturally shaped her artwork, and in 2004 she became a student artist with the Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists. After earning a degree in Applied Animal Behaviour and Training in 2009, she deepened her understanding of the animals she paints, allowing her to capture their unique details. Photography, made possible through specially adapted equipment from the charity REMAP, now serves as both a creative outlet and an essential source of inspiration for her artwork.
